Meet the Team at Mrs Kirkham's Cheese
MD & The Big Chief Cheesemaker
Graham is Mrs Kirkham's Son and has been making our fantastic cheese for the last 20 years, working initially alongside his mum until she retired, and now with the help of our great staff. Graham is very passionate and committed to what he does and we hope this shows in the end product. He can also be found out and about at local and National events.
Kellie is Graham's Partner and along with caring for their 2 children She looks after the day to day running of the office, arranges the shows and event's, and all the other bits inbetween....
Order Supervisor & Cheesemaker
Johnny Joined the team in 2016, after Spending over 25 years working in the motor trade which is where he first met Graham, ready for a complete change he decided to try his hand with cheese Johnny has become a very valued member of our team, and looks after all the cheese orders and distribution, You will also see him out and about with Graham through the summer months on some of shows and events we attend.
Ange joined our team in January 2019 after many years of running her own child minding business and deciding on a change of career. After working under Graham's guidance in the dairy for over 12 months Ange has now become one of a head cheesemakers. She attends some of the shows and markets for us so you may see her out and about as well during show season.
Georgia joined us in Sept 2019 after deciding to take a year out from starting uni and she has fit into the team really well, she also keeps us entertained with her singing and chattering in the dairy... Georgia has now started Uni but helps us out when she can.
Trainee cheesemaker/storeroom Assistant
Louise joined us in summer 2020 just to initially help us out turning cheese and packing orders while off college, but has since found she has the bug for cheesemaking and is proving to be very good at it... so has now become a member of the team working part time until she finishes college.
Lauren joined us in summer 2020 when we opened our little farm shop, she works on weekends and school hoildays and does a great job serving customers and keeping the shop in order.
Helen has worked for us relief milking for a number of years but this year decided to take over the rains as the farm manager from partner Danny when he decided to going back to building work. Helen now looks after the herd management, milking and keeping scott busy...(and she's doing a great job)
Scott (Obviously not in the picture)
Scott joined us in 2015 as an apprentice from Myerscough Agricultural college, and has stayed with us ever since, he works along side Helen and takes care of the day to day farm work, the herd and milking them twice daily.
